Our commitment
JobHuntr is still an early-stage product, but we want people with different abilities, devices, and levels of experience with the web to be able to use it. That means continuing to improve keyboard navigation, screen reader support, color contrast, and motion preferences as the product grows.
We aim to follow widely-recognized guidelines such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a reference point, even though not every part of the site will meet every success criterion yet.
What we are doing today
- Providing clear landmarks with
main, navigation, and footer roles. - Using a single
h1per page with a sensible heading hierarchy. - Supporting keyboard users with visible focus states, skip-to-content links, and a mobile menu that can be opened and closed from the keyboard.
- Improving the contact form with field-level error messages, live status updates, and labels connected to every input.
- Using semantic HTML and ARIA attributes carefully, so we do not hide important information from assistive technologies.
If you run into a problem
If you find any part of the JobHuntr site hard to use, we want to hear about it. Please include as much detail as you comfortably can, such as:
- Which page or section you were on.
- What you were trying to do (for example, submit the contact form or view sample data).
- Any assistive technology, browser, or device you were using.
You can reach us at hello@jobhuntr.com. We cannot promise instant fixes for every issue, but we do review and prioritize accessibility feedback.
Accessibility roadmap
As the product and underlying data pipeline mature, we plan to keep tightening accessibility, especially around:
- Reducing motion or 3D effects for people who prefer less animation.
- Improving color contrast and dark-mode readability where needed.
- Expanding keyboard shortcuts or quick navigation for power users.
- Making any future logged-in dashboards or job feeds follow the same standards.
Accessibility is not a one-time project. It is something we expect to revisit as we learn more and as JobHuntr grows.
